Getting shipnapped
HOME IS WHERE THE BOB IS. That is a fact!
I have started my work as relief cook at the Bob Barker.
The amazing Jo will be going home for a few months and i will take her place cooking vegan for the crew of the Bob, it is an absolute pleasure to cook for people who you love, admire, respect, adore (did i mention one of them is actually my boyfriend…. ) It makes such a difference, i always cook with LOVE but this is like cooking with LOVE+
Jo (cook) is an absolute inspiration, she is such a fantastic, talented and incredible vegan cook, plus a wonderful woman being, it’s so nice to spend time together, she is still around for a few weeks and she has been showing me the ropes, which is such a great thing really, to be able to watch her, ask her questions, get into the routine and just work together, the galley is such a lovely workplace & Jo and I just gel so well, and she got me totally addicted to BIRDY & the Turbo Chef (for those not in the know, Turbo Chef is this amazing tupperware machine that cuts EVERYTHING, it is my new best friend)
To be part of the Bob Barker crew now & cooking for me dearies is such BLISS, such an honour, to be part of the SSCS and their missions blends in so well with my own values & goals in life: to just want to contribute to a better world and be part of the mission to END whaling FOR GOOD, time is now and I am HERE, ready to take this on, in any way, in any capacity, having spend a bit of time with Bob and the crew has already made such a difference & been such a huge inspiration & stimulation, I could not be more ready for the next step, bring it on.
